Delivery
Tiles are heavy, and getting them to you is real work. Here’s exactly how delivery works and what we need from you.
Tiles ship from the warehouse that holds them. Every product page shows which states hold the tile and has a postcode estimator, so you know cost-to-door and ETA before anything goes in the cart.
Our tip: try to buy stock from the state you want it delivered to. It cuts the delivery charge significantly, and the Clearance menu lets you shop by state.
Metro areas: priced instantly. Small orders travel boxed by courier; bigger orders go as pallet freight. Your order confirmation shows which.
Regional Australia: we quote freight sale-by-sale, usually within 1 business day, and while you decide we hold your stock and your price for 24 hours. Nobody buys it out from under you mid-decision.
Ordering from two warehouses? Your order arrives as separate deliveries with separate tracking, and we tell you that plainly before you pay, in the cart, at checkout and in every email.
Something’s late? You’ll hear it from us first. If a delivery misses its window we email you a new ETA before you have to ask.
Delivery terms
Buying means accepting delivery
When you place an order, you’re agreeing to accept its delivery. We’ll make reasonable attempts to contact you beforehand to lock in a day. If you can’t accept delivery, tell us before the attempt: any fees the courier charges us for a failed delivery get passed on to you at cost. The same applies if the address you gave us is wrong or incomplete.
Kerbside means kerbside
All deliveries are to the kerbside at your address, no PO boxes. Choosing a suitable drop spot, and any permission needed to use it, is your responsibility. On smaller orders the driver may choose to carry boxes to your doorstep: that’s their call on the day, not a promise from us.
Access matters
Pallet deliveries arrive on a tailgate truck and are moved with a pallet jack, which needs a flat, firm surface. It can’t cross grass, gravel, steps or steep driveways. If the truck can’t safely access your address, redelivery or return freight costs are yours.
Be there, or leave it at your own risk
Have someone over 18 available to receive the delivery. If you give the carrier authority to leave your order unattended, it’s left at your risk.
Once it's dropped, it's yours
From the moment your order lands at the kerb, responsibility passes to you: weather, damage and theft included. Get it inside or under cover promptly.
Check everything the day it lands
Count your boxes and inspect for transit damage on delivery. Note any issue on the delivery paperwork where possible, and report shortages or damage to us within 48 hours, with photos, and before any tiles are installed. Because our stock is clearance stock, replacement tiles often don’t exist: verified transit damage or shortfalls may need to be resolved by refunding the affected amount. Installed tiles are accepted tiles: once they’re on your wall or floor, no claim can be made for anything you could have seen beforehand.
Delivery dates are estimates
We’ll always give you our best estimate, but freight across Australia has moods. Please don’t book your tiler until your tiles have arrived and you’ve checked them. We’re not responsible for tradesperson fees, lost time or any other costs arising from delivery delays.
Your rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
